Full Description

This award recognizes the person who is always willing to mentor those who are just starting their own business, looking to build more skills, or get more involved in the startup ecosystem. Keeping the criteria in mind, tell us why the nominated individual should be considered for the Mentor of the Year award.

Eligibility

  • Trust: The individual is a trusted individual within the community that is sought after for their guidance and mentorship.
  • Advocacy: The individual advocates for others within the community as well as their network when they have the opportunity to support other's success. 
  • Positive Role Model: The individual is recognized for their inspiration to others within the community and their impact on the professional development of others.
  • Experiential Insight: The individual is able to leverage rich personal experiences in their capacity as a mentor and leader.
  • Integrity: The individual is known for their genuine and reliable integrity within the community.
  • Must be based in Edmonton
